Was looking for a good burger and found it here. The staff was great, a bit overwhelmed probably due to staffing but they were on top of things. I believe the chef brought my burger to me and yes she was a chef because she cared about what she was serving. The fries are a little short for my taste but I still finished most them. Overall, nothing special about the Crazy Gator but that is what makes it great.
This is on the lake with docks for the boaters. There is covered outdoor seating as well as indoor separate bar and dining room. There is an extensive menu with typical American options. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with tots. The burger was a half pound and they gave plenty of tots. The burger was overcooked but still good and the tots were great. The server was attentive and friendly. The other servers were cleaning when they weren't busy which was good to see. They serve Coke products. Lost one star due to it having a strong urine smell between the bar and the dining room (outside of the restrooms). That was disgusting.
Wow, this place was great! Went for all you can eat fish fry. The food was great and service amazing. Our server was so wonderful, I wish I remembered her name (sorry)! I'm from California, so this was a special treat to go to with the family. The owner stopped by our table and talked with us for a while, such a nice man. He wanted to make sure everything was to our liking. There was a thunderstorm, so we stayed longer than we prepared for, and we were served coffee on them while we enjoyed our stay. My parents go there regularly and are known by name and treated with the royal treatment. Thank you so much! Oh, and they absolutely adore Andrew! He wasn't there since he is now on days, but I couldn't hear enough about how well he has always taken care of them and their group from Mid-Florida lakes.
We are a snowbirds so we wanted something different. We both had fish. It was very quiet. The waitress was very nice. She came to the table adequately. Food was served in tin pans. Food was good. The fish sandwich was huge. Fries were a little dry.
